***I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***

I absolutely loved this book. It was such an unputdownable read. An unusual storyline that I hadn't come across before, but I was intrigued and wanted to read something a bit different. Kate is in an unfulfilling marriage to Daniel and has been for 10 years. Circumstances brought them together, and a sense of duty and being content with things as they were kept Kate from leaving him. Right from the start you can see how hard it is for Kate and although she tries there doesn't seem to be much point. Everyone who knows Kate, knows she is miserable and thinks Daniel is a waste of space. The only good thing for Kate is her job. She worked hard to get where she is and is good at it. Yet one day in walks her bosses son, to take over a department and wants her to work alongside him. From there on in, you can feel the tension and chemistry. They get on amazing and Kate is realising what she has missed out on for the last 10 years. Yet she still feels that her feelings are wrong and unfair to her husband and tries to ignore them. I won't say anymore after that as I don't want to give anything away. It does seem to follow a path somewhat that I did think was a little predictable to start with but it was so well done and the characters were so easy to follow that I didn't care. Although towards the end, it takes a completely different turn and really shocked me. I was totally stunned by this sequence of events and it was incredibly tense until the end. I was torn between really liking the path the story had taken and wishing it could of been different. Plus screaming in my head at certain characters and the choices they make. But it all turned out well. Quite sad in parts but great ending! A really enjoyable read.
